Many of us talk about finding inner peace and serenity, but few of us apply the practices that will bring us inner peace and serenity. Many of us start and stop before we reach our destination.
I know this to be a fact because of my own journey to finding the God within.
Buddhist philosophers like Gandhi have described “inner peace” as the most important aspect of life, and the only way to feel genuinely happy and successful. I testify to this being true. Inner peace and serenity do not mean that our problems magically disappear. However, our attitude will be adjusted in such a way that we deal with them from a different mindset. We can start with a mindset of “gratitude” to our Creator for all that we are blessed with by just looking around us at this marvelous universe and all that is in it.
“INNER PEACE” is described as a deliberate state of SPIRITUAL CALMNESS without sufferings or mental disturbances.
It is about finding a sense of calmness where the mind functions at its optimal point regardless of one’s surroundings. With enough strength and practice, one can find this sense of inner peace even when faced with stress and anxiety. The word to focus on here is “deliberate”. We should be mindful of what we are seeking and go about it in a focused way.
We Are Seeking SPIRITUAL CALMNESS!! SPIRITUAL SERENITY!!
Serenity comes from the Latin word serenus, which means clear or unclouded.
Serenity is a mental state in which an individual feels calm and untroubled while truly at peace with themselves. It allows an individual to stay true to themselves and not let their surroundings impact their state of mind. It can be extremely helpful through recovery and overcoming hardships when frequently practiced.
We are going through a lot of upheaval in our lives today and if we are not careful it can overwhelm us.
We need “SPIRITUAL INNER PEACE and SERENITY”!!
There are many ways to practice a feeling of inner peace and serenity, and eventually you will be able to experience it in a very natural way.
